　　優點：手感比較柔軟，耐堿和高溫，洗滌溫度可以達到 80℃ 以上。缺點：水收縮的程度比較大，所以純棉布草在使用水洗機洗滌時容易出現褶皺。?注意：顏色比較深或者混色的純棉布草洗滌時溫度不能過高，否則容易出現掉色的情況。如何辨別：在一塊棉布截斷時，拉出一根線來，斷處的纖維松散不齊，浸濕后的強度與干燥強度相同，甚至大于干燥狀態強度。棉質品燃燒很快，產生黃色焰火、藍焰，與紙制品燃燒的氣味相同。灰燼少且細軟，呈灰色。
